The Sovereignty Movement states that the application of Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley, a step that enjoys a broad consensus in Israel, has become an existential necessity, and would constitute a change to the entire strategic, intelligence and military array on Israel’s eastern border.
The co-chairwomen of the movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, also emphasize that the security layer is an addition to the most significant and important layer, which is the Jewish People’s historical and exclusive right to the entire expanse of its Land.
The movement’s campaign includes spreading the slogan throughout the Land by hanging signs and distributing stickers, meeting with citizens, public figures, members of Knesset and ministers and joint activities with the Knesset Lobby to Apply Israeli Sovereignty over the Jordan Valley by calling on the Israel government to return to resolute Zionist work, which is historically just and a resolute response to the enemy - to apply Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley.
