Developments – Update #2

About the day after the war, about the meaning of the victory, about the American bear hug and the sovereignty movement in the various media.

16-11-2023

In a press conference held last Saturday night, November 11, 2023, in answer to journalist Moti Kastel’s question, “How will it be in Gaza after the war?” the Prime Minister answered:

“Total security control with the ability to enter whenever we want, to eliminate terrorists that might arise anew. I can tell you what will not be:

There will not be Hamas, I will tell you what else there will not be: There will not be any civil authority that educates its children to hate Israel, to kill Israelis, to eliminate the State of Israel. There cannot be an authority there that pays the families of murderers according to the number of people that are murdered. There cannot be any authority there that is headed by a person who, more than 30 days after the massacre, still has not condemned the terrible slaughter. This cannot be. There must be something else there. But in any case, we must have control of security and I’ll say this: There might be pressures in this matter. But I do not intend to surrender.”

We are pleased to hear that the option of rule of Gaza by Hamas or the Palestinian Authority is off the table. The campaign that our movement has been conducting precisely on this matter since the start of the war has indeed contributed to the cause. But the work is not done yet. Now, they are talking about the option of international civil control in Gaza. A twisted idea that we must bury deep before it takes on flesh and skin.

Therefore, we must continue our campaign with the clear message: No to Abu Mazen, no to Dahlan, no to Barghouti and no to the U.N. Only Israeli control in Gaza = security + victory.

Thanks to all of you, dear partners,  tomorrow, Friday, as well, ads will be published in newspapers and in the electronic media. The ads are attached.

Also, hundreds of signs have been hung on balconies throughout the Land. See the attached photos. From now on, we would like to focus on the area of Jerusalem. Anyone who lives near the Knesset and the government compound and is willing to hang a sign on their balcony, is invited to send a WhatsApp message to 050-5500834.

For Israel’s victory! An analysis of the situation. The Sovereignty Movement interviews

This week we posted 2 fascinating Zoom interviews on the website:

1.     With Brig. Gen. (res.) Amir Avivi, founder and chairman IDSF

How will victory in the Gaza Strip look? Will we be able to fight Hizb’Allah at the same time? How should Israel deal with American political pressure? And what about renewing the Jewish settlement enterprise  in Gaza?

2.     With Lt. Col. (res.) Atty. Maurice Hirsch, former senior officer in the Military Legal Office in Judea and Samaria

It is shocking to think that after 1400 deaths, Abu Mazen is demanding a state. We have humanitarian demands as well. The world does not respond to Hamas’ exploitation of Gaza’s citizens. After the war, only the IDF can control Gaza.

·      We must not become addicted to America

Along with appreciation for the alliance, we must be sure that the U.S. embrace does not tie our hands or harm Israeli interests. We must make clear to Biden: Gaza will not be handed over to foreign hands. Only Israel will take care of its security.

Our opinion piece appeared this week in English in in the Jerusalem Post and in the Besheva newspaper in Hebrew

 Sovereignty on Twitter

Our movement has lately entered the world of Twitter. We are learning this new area. We understand that in order for our messages to spread – it is important that anyone who has Twitter should like and pass on our tweets.

An example of a few tweets:

A response to Ron Dermer: The People of Israel will not Allow it!!

A response to Ambassador Mike Herzog’s remarks

A response to the terror attack on the Tunnels Road

   The Battle for Consciousness

Dear friends, our sons are now in a tough battle in the south, in the north, in Judea and Samaria. The victories in the battles must be backed up very strongly with hasbara. We, the members of the movement, are in a battle for consciousness. It is a difficult battle, against large anti-Semitic and leftist forces. Anyone who is not now physically involved in the battles on the borders is invited to help convey the messages and articles we send you in our emails.

We are all soldiers for the victory of Israel over the Land of Israel. We must strengthen the idea of Israeli sovereignty and settlement and encourage relocation of the Arabs.

Together, With the Almighty’s help, we will prevail.
