A Blazing Red Warning Sign: The Roadmap to a Terror State

Sovereignty Movement and Forum HaGevurah members called on Cabinet ministers: Stop the plan that puts Israel back on the path toward the disastrous creation of a Palestinian state.

As Israel's Security Cabinet convened for a special discussion on the "Peace Council's" proposal for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, members from the Sovereignty Movement and Forum HaGevurah held a joint vigil outside the meeting, warning the Prime Minister and Cabinet ministers not to fall into the trap of a plan that would place Israel back on the path toward a Palestinian state.

The participants carried signs warning that the proposed "Roadmap" contains a dangerous vision for Israel's future and would effectively restore the reality that existed prior to the October 7 massacre.

On her way into the Cabinet meeting, Minister for Settlements and National Missions Orit Strock stopped to speak with the people, who presented their concerns and urged her to oppose the plan.

Yehudit Katsover, one of the leaders of the Sovereignty Movement, stressed that the proposed "Roadmap" is even more dangerous than Trump's 20-Point Plan. From its very opening, she noted, the document identifies its ultimate objective as the establishment of a Palestinian state. It would also leave Palestinian law in force in Gaza—a legal system that incites and rewards terrorism against Jews. Furthermore, it would leave Hamas' weapons in Arab hands within the Gaza Strip, thereby preserving and strengthening the threat posed by Gaza to the citizens of Israel.

Katsover emphasized that the soldiers who fell in this war did not sacrifice their lives so that Israel could return to a reality of existential danger. They fought to remove the military and security threat facing Israel's citizens. The proposed plan, she said, would instead restore and intensify that very threat, placing Israel's future and the safety of its citizens at risk.

Throughout the vigil, participants repeatedly called for accelerating Jewish settlement and the application of Israeli sovereignty as the only strong, Zionist political response to plans that endanger Israel's security and undermine the justice of Israel's national existence.

The participants also conveyed to Minister Strock their support for the Prime Minister and Cabinet ministers as they stand against attempts to weaken Israel and push Israel  toward a surrender agreement with Hamas.
