Members of the Sovereignty movement joined the event to commemorate the 10th of Nisan, the day the Israelites crossed the Jordan River into the Land of Israel. The call is getting stronger: Israel's sovereignty over the Jordan Valley is a must.
We once agsin "entered" the Land of Israel and this time at an event dedicated to the Tenth of Nissan, the day the Israelites crossed the Jordan River, the day we entered the Land. The event was organized by Major General (res.) Uzi Dayan.
We feasted our eyes on the waters of the Jordan, at Beit Hogla with Erna Kubos we listened to fascinating lectures (in Hebrew) about our rights to the Land and the legality of our sovereignty.
We concluded this emotional day with an impressive gathering at the Jordan River crossings, Maabrot HaYarden, attended by public figures and hundreds of people from across the country.
Along the entire length of the valley, placards hung by the Sovereignty Movement were seen by all, calling to take preemptive action and apply sovereignty over the Jordan Valley.
The Jordan Valley, the key to the Land of Israel, applying and asserting sovereignty over it will halt the insanity of the two-state plan. No Arab will agree to any agreement without the Jordan Valley. That is why sovereignty over the Jordan valley is a real game changer.
These sentiments were echoed by David Elhayani, head of the Jordan Valley Regional Council and by retired Brigadier General, and former Knesset member Moshe Peled.
